The Cliffs Golf

108 championship golf holes await members at the Cliffs Valley, Keowee, Glassy, and Walnut Cove. Each course has received innumerable accolades, one has made history, and all represent the standard of excellence that the Cliffs brings to the game of golf. The Cliffs is the only club in America with two courses designed by Tom Fazio and two courses designed by Jack Nicklaus. Keowee Vineyards – A masterpiece of natural beauty, the 1999 Tom Fazio designed Keowee Vineyards course was hailed by Golf Digest as the “7th Best Private Course in the Nation.”

Signature Hole 17 was ranked as the toughest hole on the Nationwide Tour in 2005, but as Fazio himself said, "This hole may be the most picturesque in the state of South Carolina–and some people will say it's the most picturesque ever." Opening Spring 2007 – Jack Nicklaus signature course at Keowee Falls! Coming Soon – Tom Fazio designed course at Keowee Springs! Glassy – When the Tom Jackson course made its debut in 1992 Golf Digest declared it the “Fourth Most Beautiful Course in the Nation.” Its 13th Hole remains one of the most photographed holes in the world, and no wonder – it stands upon a 3,000 foot plateau with a view that stretches unhindered for 75 miles. It is a golfing experience that one will remember for a lifetime. Valley – Golf Digest welcomed the 18-hole, par 72 course designed in the Parkland style by renowned golf commentator Ben Wright by calling it one of the “Best New Courses” in the country in 1995. With a set up that can be both demanding and forgiving, the Valley plays host to the Nationwide Tour’s most popular tournament, the BMW Charity Pro-Am at the Cliffs.
