Lake Keowee is located just 45 miles from Greenville, SC, the states largest city and just 1.5 hours from Atlanta, GA.  The lake is fed from nearby mountain streams of pure blue water.

Lake KeoweeLake Keowee consist of about 18,000 acres with approximately 300 miles of shoreline.  Only about ¼ of the shoreline has been developed resulting in an uncrowded lake which is perfect for boating, fishing, sailing and other activities.  It is also the site of a Professional Bass tournament each year.  Lake Keowee is owned by Duke Energy Corp. which controls the lake frontage and water level.  Lake Keowee property owners own to the waterfront which is different than the Corps of Engineering restrictions such as on Lake Hartwell.
